Makeup Inspiration | Chanel Rouge Coco and Keira Knightley

Hey people!

I feel like I’ve really been slacking on my posts lately. You have my sincerest apologies! When things get busy I’m much better at keeping up on Instagram (exclusivelykell) or Twitter (@24karatkelly) so you can always keep up with me on one of those as well.

The look I’m posting today was 100% inspired by Chanel’s new 2015 Rouge Coco lip color launch, with none other than the lovely Keira Knightley on the front lines.

The photo on the left below was splashed across the back cover of my latest Marie Claire, and I fell completely in love. I’ve never been particularly good at an understated eye. I’ve usually either got winged liner out to my ears or nothing at all. This look is SO well done that I decided to study from it and see what I could come up with.

Eyes are a combination of neutral tones from Morphe Brushes, Makeup Geek, and Stila cosmetics. Liner is by Stila and false lashes are by Kiss. Lipstick is MAC Cosmetics in Relentlessly Red, although I admit I do prefer the deeper, richer red on Keira.

Has anyone tried this stuff? Is it worth the $36USD per tube?? #dyingtoknow
